      The very first large illustration by Jan van Haasteren appeared as early as 1975, with the drawing Shooting Pool. This print grew into a popular advertising poster and eventually led to the release of the first jigsaw puzzle in 1980, published by Jumbo. Since then, it has been impossible to imagine many households without Jan's puzzles.
