Traditionally, advent calendars have 24 little doors and shorten the wait for Christmas. There are countless variations, from chocolate to tea to beauty or toy advent calendars. Have you chosen your advent calendar for this year yet?
This A4 Stable of Bethlehem advent calendar measures 21 x 29 cm.
If it bothers you that many nativity scenes show a snowy landscape, then this calendar is the right choice for you! Because it is a realistic depiction of the Christmas story. You can see the events in Bethlehem as they might really have looked on this religious advent calendar. The shepherds keep watch in the fields and they are already visited by the angel. Other people stream to the stable—adults, children, and even the sheep are brought along. The three Wise Men kneel before the stable toward which the Christmas star points. The door to the stable, however, is still firmly closed. It only opens on the 24th! Can you spot the newborn behind it?
The motif of this calendar is certainly more for older children or adults, but for them it will be an atmospheric companion during Advent.
All images light up when you place the calendar in front of a light source or hang it in the window.
These advent calendars are packed in crystal-clear foil, which is 100% recyclable!
The cardboard on the front of this advent calendar is also mainly made from recycled paper.
