About San Francesco d'Assisi
San Francesco d'Assisi, in Dutch Francis of Assisi, was an Italian saint who lived at the end of the twelfth and the beginning of the thirteenth century. He chose a life of poverty and laid the foundation for the Franciscan order. His connection with creation is expressed, among other things, in the Canticle of the Sun. The town of Assisi in Umbria is closely linked to his life and remains an important pilgrimage destination. This calendar is an appropriate gift for anyone inspired by his way of life and spirituality.
A meaningful choice for anyone who wants to combine the year with attention to Francis of Assisi and a clear planning overview.
